Police arrest gangster with guns, 2,400 rounds of ammunition in Chilliwack house: "Abbotsford police arrested a gangster linked to the Duhre crime group Tuesday after seven firearms, including an Uzi, were found in his residence along with 2,400 rounds of ammunition and various quantities of drugs.

Const. Ian MacDonald said the department's Gang Suppression Unit excuted a search warrant at the house in the 47000-block of Brewster Place in Chilliwack.

'This was regarded to be a high-risk warrant and the contents of the residence proved that this assessment was accurate,' MacDonald said. Along with the firearms, police seized oxycontin, ecstasy, heroin, cocaine and thousands of dollars.

'The home was vacant at the time of the warrant execution,' MacDonald said."
